L’associazione dei Biometristi dell’Industria ASsociati (BIAS) nasce nel 1985 come gruppo di lavoro SSFA (Società di Scienze Farmacologiche Applicate) con l’obiettivo di approfondire tematiche relative alla metodologia statistica nell’ambito della sperimentazione clinica e pre-clinica. Il BIAS fa parte dell’EFSPI (European Federation of the Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry) ed è rappresentata all’interno del Consiglio da due delegati nominati dal Comitato BIAS.
